Welcome to Mrs. Jackson’s ELA Classroom !

In our class, we are becoming better readers, writers, and thinkers.

Our focus this year is to increase our independent reading, our comprehension of what we’ve read, and to become better communicators about our thinking of what we have read.

Students, please make sure you are continually reading a book of your choice.

Make sure you are keeping up with your independent reading assignments

“Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.”
