Nursing staff will begin BMI screenings next week. These screenings will be done in grades K, 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10. If you do not want your child to be screened, please send a signed note to the nurse’s office. Make sure the student’s name is on the note.

Check out some of our amazing Child Nutrition staff with the newly installed double-stack gas convection oven! This oven was purchased with a $16,519.00 NSLP Equipment Assistance grant.
We have also been awarded a $4,697.00 Farm to School Kitchen Equipment grant to purchase new food processors, tomato slicers, wedgers, fruit/vegetable dicers and french fry cutters for our two cafeterias!

GHS! Students may now view their final semester grades in HAC. Report cards will be printed when we return. Transcripts will be available January 12. When you login to HAC you must choose the marking period. Concurrent credit will not be available until January.

GHS is taking these final few days of the fall semester to recognize our December Students of the Month! This month we had 3 standout students. Sophomores Taylor Burdue and Reginald Taylor are both bringing a positive energy to the campus and working hard to be successful! Junior Kyle Norman had a great XC season, has worked so hard in the coffee shop, and always has a smile on his face! GHS is really blessed with some of the best. Way to go guys!

GHS Semester Exams will be Monday and Tuesday of next week! Students will know their exemption status Friday the 15th.

We are still short a driver for the bull bus this afternoon. Mr. Self will facilitate both routes with the roadrunner bus. Bull bus students will be delivered home 45-50 minutes later today. Please note that if you have a K-1 student they will be transported to the CES library to wait on the roadrunner bus to return.
