Gurdon Public Schools has been awarded a $1,966.30 mini-grant from Delta Dental. Each student in Prek-2nd grade will participate in an oral health education program where they will receive a dental hygiene kit, a copy of the book "The Berenstain Bears Visit the Dentist" and learn how to properly brush and floss! The grant will also pay for a year of the rental fees and refills on our oxygen and nitrous tanks to increase student comfort when receiving restorative treatment. Thank you Delta Dental!

6th graders have been constructing housing from the Mesolithic and Neolithic Eras as they've been studying their way through history. The attention to detail and creativity with resources shows they've worked hard on them. Great job!
5th graders in Mrs. Dillard's STEM class had fun on Friday building catapults and putting them to the test. They had a great time seeing their creations in action!

School pictures are right around the corner! Lifetouch will be here on the 26th of September for Senior portraits and regular school day pictures for grades 7-12. Information has been sent home with students. Lifetouch does charge a $20 sitting fee for all senior portraits, make sure to bring the $20 day of pictures. If you need more information, call the front office. Please make every effort to have pictures made on this day, we have not been guaranteed retake days.
