The Gurdon High School Quizbowl Team had a great meeting of the minds as they played in Searcy today.

Gurdon Public Schools is excited to announce that we have been awarded $314,583.00 through the COPS-SVPP (Community Oriented Policing Program- School Violence Prevention Program) federal grant program and $20,000.00 through the ADE Supplemental Priority 1 School Safety Grant to improve the physical safety of our campus. Only 20% of COPS-SVPP applications nationwide were funded! This is a multi-year project that will promote safety for our students, staff and visitors. Be Great!

GHS Student Council has announced Red Ribbon Week theme days for our campus! GHS will observe Red Ribbon Week from October 28 to October 31, 2024. We encourage all students and faculty to dress up and participate in our campaign to stamp out drugs!
