📚 The Power of Reading: At Home & School 📚
Reading is one of the most important skills a child can develop, both in the classroom and at home! When children read regularly, they strengthen their vocabulary, comprehension, and imagination—building a strong foundation for future success. Whether it’s a bedtime story, a library book, or time spent reading in school, every moment matters! 📖
🥼🔬 2nd Graders Testing Predictions in Science! 🔬🥚
Our 2nd graders had an egg-citing day in science class! 🥚 Students made predictions and tested hypotheses by placing eggs in vinegar and water to observe what would happen. Through this hands-on experiment, they learned about chemical reactions and the importance of making predictions and testing ideas. These young scientists are learning that the best way to discover is through curiosity and exploration! Great job, 2nd grade! 👏🌟 #GurdonPublicSchools #YoungScientists #STEMLearning #HandsOnScience #FutureInventors
